Big Dog Chains™ offers all of its clients a 30 Day No Hassle exchange and return policy. We keep it really simple. If you are not satisfied with the model you have selected, you can exchange or return it for a full refund within 30 days of making your purchase on our online store.
We offer free shipping to the U.S. and Canada with an international shipping option at $40.00. Any shipping costs for items being exchanged or returned that were purchased from www.BigDogChains.com are the responsibility of the customer. Any dog collars being exchanged or returned to www.BigDogChains.com must be in their original condition. More specifically, dog collars purchased on www.BigDogChains.com that are submitted to be exchanged or returned will be reviewed by our jewelry professionals.
All of the Big Dog Chains™ models are robust link chain designs that cannot easily be resized by any jeweler. Any modifications to the purchased dog collar at www.BigDogChains.com (i.e. link removal, link modification, Big Dog Clasp® removal, Big Dog Clasp® modification) can and will void the collars lifetime warranty. All of our collars were designed specifically for large breed dogs. Although; a professional jeweler may be capable of modifying the dog collars purchased in our online store...we do not recommend it.
Big Dog Chains™ jewelers understand the importance of every element found in our dog collars. The latter, may not be appreciated by other jewelers, which could lead to a failure in the dog collars durability and functionality.
Approval for an exchange or return will be determined by the following criteria:
- Dog collar is in its original condition
- Dog collar has not been modified
- Dog collar has not been re-sized

Dog Collar Sizing:
Receive free lifetime resizing with one free return shipping voucher for your first resizing/exchange (value of $15 USD, valid in the US & Canada only). If you used your free shipping voucher and need to resize a second or multiple times it's no problem but you will need to pay shipping both ways.
We always stress the importance of taking precise measurements of your pets neck in order to have a perfectly sized dog collar. If your pet grows, gains weight or you simply ordered the incorrect dog collar size, please let us know and we can resize the chain for you. Any shipping costs to send the Big Dog Chain™ to our offices in Quebec, Canada will be the responsibility of the customer. After your Big Dog Chains™ has been adjusted to the accurate neck size for your pet we will ship the item back to you free of charge.

At Big Dog Chains™ we are so confident in the quality of our dog collar designs that we offer a lifetime warranty against manufacturing defects. Each dog collar model also has additional warranty coverage against wear of the link and clasp structure.
What's included?
The BIG DOG CHAINS lifetime warranty is included with all our dog collars and is in place to cover against the utility of the link and clasp system.
This lifetime warranty does not include after purchase coverage against scratches, chips, nicks and excessive abuse (stress tests, torture tests, abnormal wear) of our dog collar products.
- against wear (as described above) of the following dog collar models (Ceasar, Caesar XL, Capone, Magnum, Rocky, Maui, Commander)
Warranty Terms:
To return your your Big Dog Chains dog collar beyond our 30 Day No Hassle return policy and under our warranty policy you must meet criteria below:
- Customer must contact Big Dog Chain by phone or email to obtain a Return Authorization Code.
- Customer must ship the dog collar to our offices in Canada.
- Dog collar must pass the returned items inspection by a Big Dog Chains jeweler for defects.
Exchange & Return Policy:
If you need to exchange or return your dog collar for inspection you can ship it back to our offices in Canada. This basically means our jewelry team takes a look to see if the collar meet our warranty policy requirements.
